The resurrection of Toy Story

After days and days of watch Cars nonstop, this weekend Luke conveniently remembered about Toy Story's existence. There was a time not too long ago when Toy Story was his favorite movie. We got all of the characters for him just in time for him to lose interest and move on to Cars. So imagine my excitement when he requested to watch something other than Mater Tales! He played with all his toys again and reminded me why I shouldn't go crazy getting rid of things.


On Saturday I went to my friend and co-worker Elizabeth's baby shower. Laura, Nikki and I had a lot of fun putting together a basket for her and Hayden. I made this sign for his room to go with the sea theme.


The last few days have been beautiful. The weather is cold in the morning and warms up to the 70's during the day. You can tell everyone here is excited because they finally have a chance to wear their boots and winter clothes. It might be short lived since next weeks forecast shows temperatures back up in the 80's. Here is a shot of Luke and David before school one morning. Yay for football season being over! Maybe I will get to see my husband before 9:00 on weeknights.


This morning as I made cinnamon rolls and the house is warm and cozy, I am really starting to feel the holiday spirit. My goal is to actually decorate a tree this year and find some stockings. Happy daylight savings day!
